Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Salina, KS. As a Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering freight to various locations across the region, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport freight to various locations
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, as well as Ryder's safety policies and procedures
  • Load and unload freight as required, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate routes and schedules
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with endorsements for Hazmat and Doubles/Triples
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including a drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
