Endoscopy Technician

Gastro Health is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team in a dynamic and growing gastroenterology practice.
About the Role:
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.
- Assist with preparing patients for procedures, including explaining the process and answering questions.
- Operate and maintain endoscopy equipment, ensuring proper function and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and complete patient records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in a GI setting, preferably as an Endoscopy Technician or Medical Assistant.
- Associates Degree or equivalent medical assisting experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
