Millwright Technician

Job Summary:

West Fraser is seeking a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team. As a Millwright Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining industrial equipment, including conveying systems, machine centers, and other machinery. You will work safely under high pressure situations and be able to read and understand drawings and printed instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

Repair and maintain industrial equipment, including conveying systems, machine centers, and other machinery

Read and understand drawings and printed instructions

Work safely under high pressure situations

Possess basic understanding in line ups of pumps, sheaves, sprockets, machine centers

Move machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum two years verifiable work experience as a Millwright

Welding experience (GMAW and/or SMAW)

Cutting Torch experience (Oxygen/Acetylene)

Ability to work night/day shift
