Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical care to patients, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs, and maintaining confidential information.
  • Model and enforce company policies and procedures, and provide direction and guidance to associates on proper customer service approaches and techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas by analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls, and overseeing safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Maintain confidential information, documentation, and assigned records as required by company policies, and local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Provide comprehensive patient care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, counseling patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs, and maintaining confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
