Position: Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join our esteemed healthcare team. This full-time role encompasses 36 hours of patient care weekly, complemented by 4 hours dedicated to administrative responsibilities, operating Monday through Friday, along with on-call obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in a shared on-call rotation with a 1:4 ratio.
  • Manage patient care in our well-equipped birth center, featuring 11 labor and delivery rooms and 3 triage areas.
  • Provide care for approximately 8 gynecological and 10 obstetrical patients daily.
  • Collaborate with a part-time Nurse Practitioner working at 0.75 FTE.
  • Oversee a support team that includes 1 site manager, 2 front desk personnel, 2 Medical Assistants, 1 Licensed Practical Nurse, and 1 Surgery Scheduler.
  • Utilize the Athena EMR system for outpatient services and Cerner for inpatient services, including Cerner Maternity.
  • Work within a facility designated as Level III trauma.

Credentialing Process:
The credentialing process is expected to take approximately 90 days.
