Key Responsibilities:

The Welder and Fabricator will undertake critical tasks in the manufacturing process of our products. This role encompasses a variety of functions including measuring, fabricating, cutting, welding, grooving, assembling, and packaging pumping stations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate both independence and teamwork, adhering to established work methods and prioritizing safety to ensure product excellence.

Essential Duties Include:

  • Fabricating components through cutting, welding, and grooving according to specifications.
  • Measuring and assembling pumping stations based on schematics and technical drawings.
  • Conducting quality checks and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Reporting any discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
  • Working autonomously or collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Providing training to peers as necessary.
  • Implementing safe and efficient work practices.
  • Maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Documenting time spent on various tasks.
  • Preparing pumping systems for distribution.
  • Cross-training in additional manufacturing roles.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to communicate effectively.
  • Must be capable of operating power tools and handling various materials.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and manual dexterity are essential.
  • Ability to lift over 25 pounds consistently throughout the workday.
Additional Information:

PPS maintains a non-smoking environment. Candidates must successfully complete a background check and possess the legal right to work in the United States. A valid US driver's license and a satisfactory driving record are also required.
