Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Surgery Unit at Kaiser Permanente, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care that reflect the patient's unique needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that reflect the patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and revise plans as needed.
  • Ensure patient safety and prevent nosocomial infections.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
  • One year of recent (within the last three years) full-time equivalent experience in CSU or completion of a Kaiser Permanente or equivalent CSU course within prior twelve months.
  • Registered Nurse License (California)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Basic Life Support
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one year of CVICU experience.
  • IABP, CRRT, CCRN certificate or must be certified within a year of hire.
