About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technician to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital in Everett, Washington.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to provide high-quality patient care and support our medical team. As a Catheterization Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating medical equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and administering medications as ordered.
  • Operate medical equipment, such as electrocardiogram machines and ultrasound devices, to assist with procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed and assist with patient transfers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the medical team.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Catheterization Laboratory Technician.
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel, including physicians, nurses, and other health team members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, move equipment, and lift patients as needed.
