About the Role

Piedmont is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team. As a RN Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients with psychiatric illnesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
  • Function within the framework of Piedmont's policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
  • Maintain standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a nursing program.
  • New graduates of a nursing program eligible.
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
  • Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable. Bachelor's degree preferred. Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
