About the Opportunity

The University of Cincinnati is seeking a highly qualified Faculty Educator to join the Health Sciences Program in the Department of Rehabilitation, Exercise and Nutrition Sciences. This is a full-time educator position with a 9-month appointment, and the preferred start date is August 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop courses in the undergraduate Health Sciences program, including anatomy, kinesiology, and exercise prescription for special populations.
  • Contribute to the department's teaching, service, and research missions.
  • Participate in student recruitment, retention, and admissions activities.
  • Engage in program committee work, including program evaluation and accreditation tasks.
Requirements
  • Earned non-clinical terminal degree (e.g. PhD, EdD) or Clinical doctorate (e.g. DPT, DAT, OTD).
  • Ability to teach or experience teaching in musculoskeletal anatomy.
  • Demonstration of college-level teaching experience.
  • An equivalent of more than 2 years of relevant full-time work-related experience.
  • Current knowledge and skill in the use of computer technology and educational learning management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in a related Health Sciences field.
  • An equivalent of 4 or more years of relevant full-time work-related experience.
  • Demonstration of 2 years of full-time college-level teaching experience.
  • Ability to teach a range of undergraduate Health Sciences courses.
