About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Transportation Lead to join our team at MedSpeed. As a Medical Transportation Lead, you will be responsible for safely transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and other related materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate a Non-CDL Commercial Motor Vehicle: Drive a straight truck throughout the shift on various roads and in varying weather conditions.
  • Accurately Track Items: Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
  • Strictly Observe Operating Policies: Adhere to operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
  • Present a Professional Image: Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior, and present a professional image to clients and the public.
  • Maintain a Clean Vehicle: Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Relevant Industry/Driving Experience
  • Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills
  • A Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving History
  • Ability to Pass Initial and Random Drug & Alcohol Screen
  • Must Have or Be Able to Obtain a DOT Medical Certification
  • Must Be 21 Years of Age with an Active Driver's License for 3 Years
