Addiction Counselor-IOP

We are seeking a highly skilled Addiction Counselor-IOP to join our team at Riveon Mental Health and Recovery Careers. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide routine duties of an Addiction Counselor, including screening, assessment, treatment planning, education, referral, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of clinical services, including individual counseling, group counseling, family counseling, intensive outpatient services, and case management.
- Assessment and treatment planning, including identifying client strengths and weaknesses, developing treatment plans, and examining alternative solutions.
- Oversight of each case assigned to caseload, including orienting clients to the program, clinical reviews, and discharge planning.
- Engaging families in the family treatment program and delivering program components as assigned.
- Weekly contact with referral sources and completion of all CQI data collection and implementation of corrective actions as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must adhere to the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board's Chemical Dependency Code of Ethics and have three years of treatment or recovery experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as good computer skills.
- Ability to effectively work with agency employees, outside contacts, and a diverse client population.
- Associate Degree or substantial progress towards Associate Degree with emphasis on Addictions Treatment and Prevention or equivalent required.
- CDCA certification required, with LCDCII, LPC, LSW, or higher credential preferred.
