We are a top-tier, full-service heavy civil, heavy highway, and industrial general contractor with a strong presence in North America. Our Salt Lake office is one of our most successful regions, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team.
About the Role
As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive estimates for Heavy Highway and Heavy Civil projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Project selection and analysis
- Take-offs and quantity calculations
- Estimating project costs from inception to completion
- Bid submissions and proposal development
- Budget preparation and financial planning
- Project risk assessment and mitigation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 7 years of experience in Heavy Highway and Heavy Civil construction
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Expertise in DOT Construction Estimating, with a focus on mass earthwork projects
- Proficiency in estimating software, including HCSS HeavyBid or Bid2Win and Agtek Software
