We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Parker Hannifin Corporation. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for safely assembling, testing, and repairing pneumatic products while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Read and understand bills of material and routings
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, process, sales orders, and test instructions
- Perform routine and repetitive work while maintaining a high degree of quality and quantity
- Test pneumatic products and repair as required
- Recognize irregularities, diagnose problems, and make repairs
- Accurately record component part scrap utilizing First Pass Yield Program
- Train new team members in designated cells
- Positively support change initiatives by actively contributing to and participating in lean principles and Kaizen events
- High School diploma or GED
- Knowledge of basic computer functions
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player with minimal supervision and guidance
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing roles and changing priorities
This role will be performed in a moderately loud environment with potential exposure to chemicals, oils, dirt, vibration, and moving equipment.
