Full-time Hourly Position ranging from $15.00-$17.00 DOE plus benefits.

Position Overview: The Housekeeping Team Leader, under the guidance of the General Manager and Rooms Director, is responsible for upholding the cleanliness and quality standards of the property. This role is vital in delivering exceptional experiences for guests at Heritage Hotels & Resorts.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Overseeing all Housekeeping staff at Nativo Lodge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve operational goals.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with staff, colleagues, and guests.
  • Establish performance objectives aligned with Heritage's vision.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, legal, operational, labor, and brand standards.
  • Guide team members in meeting daily objectives and ensuring all accommodations are ready by the designated check-in time.
  • Compile lists of vacant rooms needing immediate attention and potential check-outs to assign tasks effectively.
  • Delegate responsibilities to team members and evaluate their work for compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Report any discrepancies to management as necessary.
  • Notify management of rooms that are ready for guest occupancy.
  • Conduct interviews, hiring, and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Train, mentor, and guide team members to provide outstanding guest experiences and maintain a clean environment.
  • Ensure guest rooms and public areas are kept in a clean, comfortable, and marketable condition.
  • Implement standard procedures for handling lost and found items.
  • Proactively address and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Adjust staffing levels based on occupancy and event schedules.
  • Oversee the ongoing cleaning of carpets, drapes, windows, and upholstery.
  • Handle guest and employee concerns with professionalism and follow-up.
  • Monitor linen inventory and storage practices.
  • Develop and implement a continuous training program for new housekeeping staff.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including PPE protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in line with the responsibilities of this position.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and prior PMS experience.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry over 40 pounds frequently.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in Management or Hospitality is preferred.
