Job Title: CVICU Travel Nurse RN

Accurate Staffing Consultants is seeking a skilled CVICU travel nurse RN to join our team in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate CVICU travel nurse RN to provide high-quality patient care in a 13-bed intermediate surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for patients who have undergone major cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery, as well as heart/lung transplantation and procedures requiring post-operative continuous cardiac monitoring and/or respiratory monitoring.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the CVICU
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patients' vital signs, including cardiac and respiratory function
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in educational programs and training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina
  • Experience in CVICU or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
