Job Summary:

This role involves providing clinical interventions, including counseling and therapy sessions, to individuals within the correctional facility. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other professionals to develop treatment plans, coordinate care, and provide education and support to patients.

About the Role:
  • Provide assessments and deliver clinical interventions, including counseling (group and individual), to patients within the correctional facility.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop treatment plans, coordinate care, and provide education and support to patients.
  • Assist in transitional care planning, connecting patients with community resources upon release.
  • Administer Cognitive Behavior Therapy for individuals with Substance Use Disorders, both individually and in groups.
Requirements:
  • Valid and active California Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
  • At least 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years.
  • Must have the required certificates relevant to the assigned specialized area.
