Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Braillist II / Alternative Media Specialist to join our team at the Sonoma County Office of Education. As a key member of our Business Services department, you will play a critical role in providing alternative media services to our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality braille and large print materials for students with visual impairments
• Assist with the development and implementation of alternative media services
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure accessibility of educational materials
• Provide technical support for alternative media equipment and software

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in alternative media services or a related field
• Strong knowledge of braille and large print production
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
