Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Manage the functional areas of guest registration, night audit, guest reservations, housekeeping/laundry, and food and beverages to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Team Leadership: Assist with selection, training, counseling, and motivating hourly associates to achieve exceptional performance and guest satisfaction.
- Revenue Growth: Assist hotel management and sales teams in implementing and executing revenue programs to meet room occupancy, average daily rate, and RevPar objectives.
- Operations Management: Participate in the development of the hotel expense budget, ensure proper delivery of guest special requests, and meet with guests to determine their level of satisfaction.
- Emergency Procedures: Ensure associates are trained to act accordingly in the event of an emergency or accident at the hotel.
- Communication: Ensure effective departmental communication and information systems through logs, department meetings, and hotel meetings.
- Leadership Team: Participate in monthly department meetings, property MOD program, weekly staff meetings, weekly sales meetings, and weekly Leadership Team meetings.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel operations, with a focus on guest services and revenue growth.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train associates.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with hotel operations software, revenue management systems, and budgeting processes.
