As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Responsibilities- Assess and support physical symptoms, provide psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and mentor assigned team members.
- Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum.
- Operate in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital, prioritizing patient needs and ensuring timely interventions.
- Maintain professional disposition at all times, promoting best practices and a culture of excellence.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan.
- Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider certification.
- BLS certification required prior to start date of employment.
- Preferred qualifications include a BSN degree, experience as an RN in a healthcare environment, and basic proficiency in Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft applications.
- Competitive pay range: $32.08 - $48.74/hour.
- Generous PTO plan, including a bonus of 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time frontloaded on day 1 for candidates with 5+ years of direct experience.
- Stackable pay incentives, including a night shift differential of $4.00/hr and a weekend differential of $3.25/hr.
