About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Professional (Reproductive Health Specialist) to join our team at Planned Parenthood. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Reproductive Health Care: Conduct thorough health histories, perform physical examinations, and provide education and counseling on reproductive health topics, including family planning, fertility control, and sexually transmitted infections.
  • Prescribe and Administer Contraceptives: Prescribe and dispense appropriate contraceptives to clients in accordance with Planned Parenthood policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Patients and Healthcare Team: Work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Stay Current with Medical Knowledge: Maintain current knowledge of medical practice in the reproductive health field, including staying up-to-date on the latest research, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement efforts, including participating in quality control tests, clinical proficiency tests, and quality management audits.
Requirements
  • Advanced Degree in Nursing or Related Field: Possess a Master's degree in nursing or a related field, with a focus on reproductive health or a related area.
  • Experience in Reproductive Health Care: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in reproductive health care, with a focus on providing comprehensive care to women and men.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of Reproductive Health Topics: Have a strong understanding of reproductive health topics, including family planning, fertility control, and sexually transmitted infections.
