About the Job

The Front-End-Of-Line (FEOL) Research and Development Engineer will be responsible for leading and supporting FEOL research and development activities at IBM's Albany research location. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and mature novel processes and integration schemes for improved yield and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct experiments to optimize FEOL processes
  • Analyze data to determine best conditions for process optimization
  • Collaborate with other engineers and functional teams to develop and implement process controls and operational documentation

Requirements

  • Research & Development experience in the semiconductor field (5+ years)
  • Silicon hardware execution experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of device physics of semiconductors
  • In-depth knowledge of Front-End-Of-Line (FEOL) semiconductor devices
