Role Overview:
Radiologic Technologists are critical members of the healthcare team, responsible for performing medical imaging examinations using X-rays or other diagnostic imaging equipment. Their expertise lies in preparing patients for exams, positioning them correctly, and operating the equipment to minimize radiation exposure while capturing high-quality images.

Key Responsibilities:
• Follow physicians' instructions for specific imaging areas
• Communicate with patients to reduce anxiety and increase understanding
• Position patients correctly and adjust equipment for optimal image quality
• Implement techniques to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
• Maintain accurate documentation for procedures and patient records

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Radiology program graduate preferred
• ARRT (R) certification and BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare required

Salary Estimate: $55,000 - $70,000 per year based on industry standards and location considerations.
