\rJob Description
\rThis exciting opportunity involves leading the industrial engineering efforts at BlueOval SK Battery Park in Glendale, Kentucky. As an Industrial Engineer, you will have a unique chance to be part of the start-up team, launching the facility from the ground up.
\rKey Responsibilities:
\r- \r
- Process Development: Drive the development and implementation of direct and indirect labor standards, methods, and best practices.\r
- Labor Optimization: Analyze labor requirements, optimize manpower utilization, and implement line balancing strategies.\r
- Ergonomics and Safety: Conduct job ergonomics evaluations to ensure a safe working environment.\r
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve production process constraints, conduct equipment cycle time analysis, and recommend improvements.\r
- Manpower Distribution: Develop and implement efficient distribution of manpower, review daily employee manpower allocation, and analyze plant methods and standards.\r
- Cost Estimation: Prepare or direct the preparation of cost estimates for new or revised methods and standards.\r
- Plant Layout and Processes: Review proposed changes in plant layout, processes, material handling, routing, and other operational aspects.\r
- Production Operations: Analyze production and non-production operations to identify areas requiring improvement, develop new or improved methods and standards, and conduct time and motion/MODAPTS studies.\r
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, coordinate engineering changes, and plan for future growth.\r
Requirements:

- Experience: 3-5 years' experience in industrial engineering, with a strong background in MODAPTS certification, GSPAS knowledge, and ability to rotate to various positions within the plant.\r
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.\r
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead cross-functional teams.\r
- Availability: Ability to support any shift in a 7-day work pattern and flexibility to travel during the initial plant start-up phase.\r
