Speech and Feeding Therapist Role

Overview

We are seeking a licensed speech pathologist to join our team as a Therapist in Speech and Feeding. This role focuses on providing specialized interventions to help patients improve their communication and feeding skills.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $54.25 - $64.59, with the potential to earn up to $62.34 per hour based on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, education assistance, and more.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and thorough documentation of patient records consistent with agency standards.
  • Practice within the Scope of Practice and comply with all policies, laws, licensure, regulations, and standards for care pertaining to the delivery of home care services.
  • Demonstrate competent theoretical and technical skills pertinent to patient populations being served: Dysphagia, Speech/Language Pathology, Communication skills, Cognition, Voice, Feeding skills.
  • Demonstrate compliance with patient care coordination: weekly and monthly chart audits as requested, utilization, infection control, improvement in corrective action plans, and attendance at staff and training meetings.

Requirements

  • Valid/current Utah Speech Language Pathology License.
  • Current driver's license, insured, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
  • Ability to access the Internet or a phone line transferring patient files twice a day.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Current certificate of clinical competence.

Work Environment
