About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Duke Regional Hospital. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of up to 20 Environmental Services employees, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality cleaning standards.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Three years of experience in cleaning or a related field, with a strong understanding of housekeeping operations and procedures.
  • Supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving excellent results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
