Restaurant Captain

As a Restaurant Catering Captain at Lessing's Hospitality Group, you will be responsible for overseeing catered events, scheduling banquet service personnel, and ensuring safety and sanitation codes are followed.

Key Duties:

• Oversee catered events to ensure seamless execution
• Schedule banquet service personnel and assign specific tasks or services
• Ensure safety and sanitation codes are followed at all times
• Train staff to recognize improper guest behavior and respond accordingly
• Examine the cleanliness of the venue prior to a function
• Ensure all elements of the venue are ready before guests arrive, including dining tables, bar, food, and beverages
• Interact with the host to respond to special requests or last-minute adjustments
• Monitor the activities of workers and guests and respond to questions, complaints, or comments
• Supervise cleanup, inventory, and storage of supplies and equipment

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Serving, bartending, and catering experience required
