This part-time Information Systems Specialist will be responsible for the implementation and support of various college initiatives under the supervision of the Manager of Information Systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist students, staff, and faculty with IT support, including resolving issues over phone, email, and other correspondence.
2. Effectively communicate with fellow IT Service staff members to ensure seamless support.
3. Monitor support desk emails and tickets to ensure timely resolution of issues.
4. Provide sign-in and navigation assistance for college systems and email.
5. Assist users with issues related to the Microsoft Office suite of products.
6. Provide coverage for the Desktop Support Technician and Network Technician as needed.
Requirements:
1. Ability to demonstrate proficiency in Apple iOS, MacOS, and Windows operating systems.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT-related field.
3. Minimum of an associate degree in computer science or a related field.
