Critical Care Nurse

Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of care provided and patient progress.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia or compact state.
- 1 year of experience in a critical care setting, preferably in an ICU or CCU.
- ACLS and BCLS certifications required; NIH and CCRN certifications preferred.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
