Job Title: Veterinary Nurse - Full or Part Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Truss Vet. As a Veterinary Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.

About the Role:

This is a full-time or part-time opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced urgent care environment. As a Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including gentle restraint, clinical support, and basic animal husbandry. You will also be involved in data collection, facility maintenance, and providing a warm and welcoming environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including gentle restraint and clinical support
  • Assist with basic animal husbandry, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring
  • Collect and record data, including vital signs and medical history
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including facility maintenance and sanitation
  • Provide a warm and welcoming environment for clients, including answering questions and addressing concerns
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary nurse or in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Compassion and empathy for animals and their owners
