Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater/Painter to join our team at Selux Corporation in Highland, NY. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for applying coatings to various materials, ensuring high-quality finishes, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.


Responsibilities
  • Inspect materials prior to coating to ensure quality and consistency
  • Clean and maintain paint lines, guns, and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Report any quality, process, or equipment issues to supervisors for prompt resolution
  • Conduct quality control checks on all coated materials to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Adhere to company policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work atmosphere

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • 1-2 years of experience in industrial coating systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to focus on quality
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with colleagues
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Additionally, you will need to be able to:


  • Stand, walk, stoop, bend, and lift overhead
  • Move and lift up to 75 pounds
  • Use hands to handle objects frequently
  • Work in a hot environment
  • Have close vision
