Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Resident Care Assistant to join our team at Danvers Management Systems Inc. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Assist with mealtime, including serving, feeding, and cleaning up after meals.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident's condition to the charge nurse or certified nursing assistant.
  • Participate in resident care conferences to discuss resident's needs and develop care plans.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning resident's room and changing linens.
  • Assist with transportation of residents to and from activities, appointments, and meals.
  • Provide support and assistance to residents with mobility issues, such as transferring and positioning.
  • Assist with laundry and linen duties, including sorting, washing, and folding.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and services.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull residents as needed.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
