Geisinger Health System is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible EMS fellowship-trained Emergency Medicine physician to join the Emergency Medicine team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the growth of Geisinger's EMS service by providing EMS Medical Direction in Rural/Suburban settings.
- Oversight for health system-owned EMS Agency as well as oversight with community partner EMS.
- Critical Care Transport medical direction.
- Special Operations EMS.
- Special Event/Mass Gathering.
- PSAP Medical Direction.
- Tactical EMS.
- EMS Education - Geisinger EMS Training Institute, Community Partners, EMS Apprenticeship.
- Potential core faculty opportunity with new EM residency program.
- Clinical Emergency Medicine – provide care at both community ED and tertiary care ED.

- Embedded, multi-disciplinary team of care managers and clinical pharmacists in emergency departments to create a holistic, streamlined process from triage to discharge.
