BASIS Ed Texas is seeking a dedicated Literacy Support Lead to join its team in the San Antonio market. This role focuses on improving student outcomes by supporting teachers and school leaders with professional development, coaching, and data-driven strategies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Professional Development and Coaching: Design and deliver high-quality professional development sessions and provide coaching to educators to strengthen literacy instruction.
  • Data Analysis and Improvement: Analyze student literacy data to identify areas for improvement and inform instructional decisions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with school services team members and communicate effectively with educators and leaders to drive improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (required). Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience, preferably in literacy instruction. Proven success in coaching teachers or leading professional development.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of evidence-based literacy practices and instructional strategies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary and Benefits

  • The estimated salary range for this role is $45,000-$50,000 per year.
