Job Description

Job Title: Faculty Instructor - Term Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Faculty Instructor to join our team as a Term Faculty Instructor in the Department of Religious Studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching several sections of REL 228, Business Ethics and Society, and will have expertise in applied ethics with a concentration in Business Ethics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach several sections of REL 228, Business Ethics and Society
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with departmental goals and objectives
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to departmental decision-making

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Religious Studies or related field (advanced ABDs will be considered)
  • Expertise in applied ethics with a concentration in Business Ethics
  • Teaching experience in higher education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching in a diverse learning community
  • Ability to teach multiple sections of REL 228
  • Strong research background in Business Ethics and Society
