At Advanced Worker, we are seeking a skilled Tow Motor Restoration professional to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Tow Motor Restoration professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults in tow motors, as well as performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faults in tow motors using engine diagnostic equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment
- Inspect and repair or replace defective or worn parts
- Overhaul and test major components, such as engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Schedule maintenance for industrial machines and equipment, and keep equipment service records
- Communicate with various levels of the organization to achieve departmental goals
- Collaborate and coordinate with the manufacturing team
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Mobile Equipment, Diesel/Engine Repair, Hydraulic Repair Certifications or equivalent
- Preference given for experience with Fork Truck Repair or Engine Repair
- Safety PPE, Medical Access, Fire Extinguisher, Hazard Communication, Emergency Evacuation, tow motor operator training, Crane PM training
- Flexible work schedule to address downtime and ability to work overtime as needed
- Clearly and effectively use verbal communication skills
- Strong Mathematical skills
- Strong Measurement skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical, and industrial environment
- Time management through performing multiple operations simultaneously
- Ability to follow work instructions and desire to learn
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Handling and Moving Objects- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning and moving materials.
- Controlling Machines and Processes- Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.
- Inspecting Equipment or Material to identify the cause of problems or defects
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Close and distance vision necessary as well as depth perception.
- Performing General Physical Activities- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials.
- Position may require individual to travel occasionally as needed
- Manual Dexterity- The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects.
- Ability to sit, stoop, stand, and walk
- Close and distance vision necessary as well as depth perception and ability to see colors.
- Use fingers and hands to manipulate objects, controls, and tools.
- Although hearing is not necessarily required, individual must be able to communicate with co-workers and customers.
- Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and in varying temperatures.
