As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients who require close monitoring and specialized treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and admit patients to the unit, conducting thorough evaluations to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and respiratory therapy.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition, taking prompt action to address any concerns or complications.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and address any questions or concerns.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies.
- Associate's degree in nursing or higher from an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience working in a critical care or stepdown unit, with a strong understanding of ventilator management and respiratory care.
