Job Summary:

The Warehouse Checker/Loader IV is a critical role within the McLane Company, responsible for hand-loading outbound grocery products onto trailers in a safe and efficient manner. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and Securing Products: Safely load and secure products onto trailers, utilizing equipment such as Walkie Riders as needed.
  • Quality Control: Maintain quality control for nonconveyable products prior to loading, ensuring they meet company standards.
  • Communication: Communicate any special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report, ensuring accurate and timely information exchange.
  • Workplace Safety: Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment, adhering to company safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Age and Education: At least 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Background Check and Drug Screen: Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
