Job Overview

Talento Search Group is currently seeking a skilled Precision Machinist Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret technical specifications and drawings, ensuring accuracy and quality in tooling production.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with dimensional and material standards.
  • Operate machine tools, including lathes and grinders, to precision-machine components with high accuracy.
  • Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of machined parts to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Design and develop specialty tools and dies, requiring strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in progressive die-making, showcasing a proven track record of success in the field.
  • Accredited Journeyman's tool maker certificate is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in operating lathes and milling machinery, with a focus on precision and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with design techniques, including tooling, technical plans, models, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Experience in designing, using, and repairing machines and tools, as well as replacing parts, wiring circuits, and testing instruments.
Estimated Salary:

$28 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
