Job Summary

MUSC Health & Medical University of SC is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join their Labor & Delivery Team.

Job Description

Under general supervision, the Certified Surgical Technologist functions as a member of the operating room team to prepare sterile supplies and equipment used in surgical procedures and performs appropriate room duties involved with direct patient care with adherence to established procedural guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Perform appropriate room duties involved with direct patient care
  • Adhere to established procedural guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with the operating room team to ensure smooth surgical procedures
Requirements
  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program
  • 2 years of experience as a CST preferred
  • National Certification through NBSTSA
