Primary Duties:

  • Execute engineering responsibilities in the civil and structural engineering domain by acquiring a thorough understanding of relevant design standards, regulatory frameworks, and operational procedures.
  • Employ AutoCAD, Revit, and various structural design software to aid in the design of diverse structures and sites, which may include site structural components, foundations, retaining walls, waterfront infrastructures, piers, marinas, bulkheads, buildings, amusement rides, water attractions, and more. Support for site/civil and geotechnical design teams may also be required.
  • Provide engineering assistance on multiple interdisciplinary design projects, focusing on the analysis and documentation of essential design components.
  • Conduct assessments of civil and structural conditions for both immediate and long-term projects related to emergency or routine evaluations.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, external consultants, government entities, and internal staff, offering technical guidance and oversight to civil and structural design team members.
  • Drive business development efforts and contribute to the creation of project proposals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineering License.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in civil and structural engineering.
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Skilled in using AutoCAD for the development of design and construction documentation.
