We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Yavapai Regional Medical Center - East. As a Traveling ICU RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage life-sustaining therapies, including mechanical ventilation, vasopressors, and cardiac drips.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Arizona.
- At least 2 years of experience in ICU nursing, with a strong background in critical care.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
