About the Role

UTMB Health is seeking a board-certified pediatrician to join our team as a medical director for one of our community-based clinics in Angleton, Texas. As a key member of our pediatric department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to Level I, II, and III babies, as well as overseeing the ADC Nursery and related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Active practitioner with eligibility or certification by a board recognized by the American Board of Specialties.
  • Pediatrician would cover hospital schedule and share call coverage with community/UTMB pediatricians.
  • Participation in evening and weekend phone call coverage and attend any meeting deemed necessary by the Medical Director.
Requirements
  • Must have a MD or DO degree and a current and unrestricted license to practice in the State of Texas.
  • Registration with Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA); Certification with American Heart Associate in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) every two years; Administrative experience.
