Job Summary

JobRialto seeks a skilled Radiology Technician to obtain high-quality radiographs of patients in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will ensure radiation safety guidelines are followed and utilize Personal Protective Equipment. Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and performing computer operations (Meditech and PACS) is essential. The successful candidate will provide patient care in a professional and courteous manner, prepare examination rooms, and maintain inventory of supplies. Additionally, they will assist the radiologist in administering medications and contrast agents, review exams for technical accuracy, and complete verification processes in PACS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain quality radiographs of patients within the department and with portable equipment
  • Comply with radiation safety guidelines and utilize Personal Protective Equipment
  • Operate radiographic equipment safely and competently
  • Perform computer operations (Meditech and PACS)
  • Provide patient care in a professional and courteous manner
  • Prepare examination rooms and maintain inventory of supplies
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medications and contrast agents
  • Review exams for technical accuracy and complete verification processes in PACS

Education and Certification

Required:

  • Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology certification
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
