SAP Internship

Join Basin Electric Power Cooperative as a Student Intern – IT (SAP/ERP) and contribute to the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA system across various functional areas.

• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and understanding business requirements related to SAP S/4HANA modules.
• Support the configuration and testing of SAP S/4HANA functionalities to ensure they meet business process requirements.
• Participate in system integration testing, unit testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate changes and enhancements.
• Collaborate with business users and IT teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve system errors.
• Help maintain documentation related to functional configurations, process flows, and user guides.
• Assist with the preparation of training materials and provide support to end-users during the roll-out of new functionalities or modules.
• Conduct basic data analysis and reporting using SAP tools to assist in decision-making processes.
• Learn and apply SAP best practices and methodologies to optimize system performance and business processes.
• Participate in meetings and workshops with business stakeholders to gather insights and provide feedback on system enhancements.

• Enrolled as a full-time student in a two-year Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline with at least one year completed; Or
• Enrolled as a full-time student in a four-year Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline with at least two years completed; Or
• Recently completed a two-year or four-year program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 18 years of age.
• A minimum of a 2.5 grade point average (GPA) is preferred.
• Able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with personal computers and Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• A valid driver's license.

This position requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking; and occasional reaching below and above shoulder level, use of keyboard/computer, bending, kneeling, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds.

This position uses small hand tools and requires finger dexterity, good hearing, and color vision, the ability to perform close work, and the ability to speak.

The incumbent must be able to analyze data and reports, conduct research, and implement recommendations.

This position occasionally works in conditions of dirt and dust, fumes, chemicals, extreme heat and cold, vibration, and noise.

This position may be required to operate a motor vehicle or fly in Cooperative or commercial aircraft.

Wage: $23 per hour
