We are seeking a highly motivated and independent individual to join our esteemed Department of Radiation Oncology at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center and Case Western Reserve University.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine quality assurance and treatment planning support
  • Perform specialized procedures such as TBI, TSEI, HDR, SBRT, linac-based SRS, and online adaptive radiotherapy
  • Contribute to research opportunities, including access to the Varian TrueBeam research machine with Hypersight
  • Teach and mentor physician and physics residents, as well as dosimetry and therapy students
About the Department

The Department of Radiation Oncology at UH-SCC/CWRU is a dynamic and collaborative environment with a team of 20 physicians, 20 physicists, 7 physician residents, 4 physics residents, 15 dosimetrists, and 40 therapists.

We have a comprehensive range of radiation oncology services, including 3D-CRT, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, TBI, TSEI, HDR, and Proton Therapy.

Qualifications
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in physics, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, including residency
  • Effective organization, written, and oral communication skills
  • Experience with one specialized treatment modality, such as adaptive radiotherapy, HDR, or proton therapy, is desired but not required
