Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bakery Trainer to join our team at Rise Baking Company. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will provide technical expertise and training to in-store bakery associates on cake decorating and baking techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs for bakery associates on cake decorating and baking techniques
  • Provide technical assistance to sales team with sales presentations and product launches
  • Assist in reporting and handling product complaints
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure best-in-class service and tools are provided to customers
  • Comply with all food and safety requirements, training guidelines, policies, and procedures set forth by the company and customer
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of cake decorating and baking experience; grocery store bakery experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a bakery environment and operate baking and decorating equipment
  • Ability to work all shifts required by the customer
