We are seeking a skilled Delegating Nurse to join our team at Dove Point Residential Services, Inc. in Salisbury, MD. As a Delegating Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans that include admission, medication management, therapies, and treatments.
- Act as a liaison between individuals, families, guardians, advocates, healthcare personnel, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with medical, dental, vision, and specialty appointments to ensure continued efficient and smooth healthcare services.
- Collaborate with direct care staff, CNA's, CMT's, and LPN's to provide nursing care and support.
- Review and update electronic Medication Administration Records (MAR's) and physician's orders on a regular basis.
- Participate in quarterly meetings and other meetings related to the needs of individuals.
- Maintain a current Registered Nurse license to practice in MD and complete all required trainings.
- Must be able to accurately and timely complete job duties with little supervision.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work with individuals with all levels of disabilities.
- Must meet all local health regulations, pass background checks, and complete pre-employment physical and drug testing.
- Must be capable of performing job duties with approved reasonable accommodations or without accommodations.
