Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Renal Dialysis Nurse to join our team at Southwestern Vermont Health Care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and education to individuals requiring renal replacement therapies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing plans of care for patients undergoing dialysis
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and transitions
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on dialysis-related topics
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Meet the requirements for nephrology certification and maintain current licensure
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in medical-surgical or critical care nursing
  • Current Vermont Registered Nurse license or eligibility for licensure
  • Nephrology certification required upon eligibility to take the exam
  • BLS certification required, to be obtained by the end of orientation
