Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly qualified Physician Assistant with experience in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery to work in our CVICU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient management, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the CVICU, including placement of central lines, chest tubes, and arterial lines.
  • Manage high-acuity patients, utilizing strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in Cardiothoracic/ Cardiovascular Surgery/CVICU or equivalent case volume.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • EMR experience with Epic.
  • Virginia licensure preferred.
